Welcome from the Chair

I extend a very warm welcome back to all of you at the start of 2011. A particular welcome must go to those taking up their first headship, and we look forward to their membership of SAHISA and contribution to the organisation in the years ahead. 

I do hope that, for the majority of you, the holiday period was a meaningful time spent with family and friends during which you were able to replenish your energy store to face the many challenges that we know come with this enigmatic job of school leadership. 

For those of you who have returned to unsettled frontiers, I hope you find the support and trust of your SAHISA colleagues and friends.

Congratulations must go to all schools whose 2010 Matriculation results reflected so clearly the outstanding commitment to learning and teaching that is the hallmark of independent schools within ISASA.
