Welcome to SAHISA’s website!

We hope that this website will prove a useful resource for members of the Southern African Heads of Independent Schools Association, so useful, in fact, that you will choose to set us as your Home Page.

Our aim is to establish this as a frequently refreshed site in which we can add value to the personal and professional journey that is headship. To that end, we shall include interesting articles concerning leadership and headship. We will also include position papers, copies of our newsletter, “Thinking Heads”, as well as details of relevant courses and conferences, locally and globally, available to heads.

As we develop closer ties with similar associations overseas, we will provide links to their websites and resources. Moreover, as a member association of ICP, we shall provide a link to that body.

An exciting area that SAHISA will be pursuing with vigour is that of Action Research. We will keep you in touch with developments through this website.
