Conference 2010 will be a unique event because for the first time in the history of the three associations, the Conference will embrace the whole ISASA family, with separate components for ISASA, SAHISA (heads) and SABISA (bursars).

The ISASA component of the Conference will be held on 11 and 12 September at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The SAHISA and SABISA components will run concurrently from the evening of 12 September through to Wednesday morning, 15 September. The SAHISA component will be held at the Riverside Hotel on the Vaal River.

The Conference is planned to provide valuable insights and information with excellent speakers and many opportunities for debate and interaction on the four key issues for ISASA and its member schools: promoting the value of independence; school financial sustainability; capacity enhancement and increasing transformation and diversity in the association and amongst its members.

We ask all member schools to plan for their Board Chair/representative, head and bursar to attend Conference 2010 as a most significant and strategic event which will empower our schools to optimally position themselves in our challenging and changing environment.

Registration and programme information will be made available to all members early in 2010. Delegates from regions outside the Central region would need to arrive on the Friday evening, 10 September.
